What can you use a polishing ball for and what are the benefits? The advantage of the polishing ball is that it is not stitched, which makes it easier to reach spots and curves that you cannot easily reach with a normal polishing wheel. Because they are loose “flaps”, you can easily “fold” or tuck the polishing ball around something. Consider, for example, spokes, diamond plate, the inside of an exhaust or other special shapes.

What is a polishing ball and what do I use it for?

A polishing ball is a flexible polishing accessory that can be attached to a drill. It is ideal for polishing metal parts with complex shapes, such as rims, exhausts and diamond plates.

What variants are there and when do I use which one?

There are seven grades available: Flannel, Cotton, Non Scratch, Ultra Fine, Medium Fine, Allround and Hard. Start with the harder grades for removing coarse imperfections and work your way up to the softer grades for a high gloss finish.

How do I attach the polishing ball to my drill?

The polishing ball has a standard attachment that fits most drills. Simply place the polishing ball in the chuck and tighten it firmly
